Food Science and Technology – Underpinning Tasmania’s Innovative and Burgeoning Food Scene: A Networking Event

Over the last few decades, Tasmania has developed a deserved and enviable reputation for excellence in food and beverage production and culture. To maintain and extend this reputation, the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology, the University of Tasmania’s Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture and Tasmanian food industry colleagues are collaborating to provide an opportunity for people involved in, or interested in being involved with, Tasmania’s burgeoning food industry and culture. Recognising the great work to support food producers and processors in Tasmania already, the main aim of this gathering is to introduce participants to additional human and technological resources available to support food industry start-ups and SMEs in Tasmania to achieve long-term success.

There will be a Q and A session as well as a chance over drinks and nibbles to make some new contacts. Bring along business cards, pens and notebooks or devices to be able to record contact details of people who you would like to talk with again.
