On this webinar, learn about the Australian Packaging Covenant, and the challenges and progress being made towards the Federal 2025 packaging targets. Real life examples will help to demonstrate how businesses need to prioritise and roadmap holistic approaches to packaging sustainability across their full portfolios not just individual projects and products. Case studies will focus on the area of plastic recycling and looking at innovations such as paper flex. We will also touch on at the global vs the domestic situation in packaging sustainability.

Sarah Rushton - Senior R&D Manager for Treating at The Arnott’s Group


Sarah Rushton is a Senior R&D Manager for Treating at The Arnott’s Group. She has 18 years’ experience specialising in Product and Packaging Development and has worked across multiple FMCG categories spanning food and personal care. She has launched over 40 different technologies and over 600 SKUs to market, most recently on brands such as Tim Tam and Tee Vee Snacks and in her previous roles in Procter and Gamble on multiple brands including Head & Shoulders, Pantene, Dolce & Gabbana, and Wella. Sustainability is a passion of hers and she believes we should be developing fully sustainable products for the marketplace and driving the creation of a full circular economy through new product development
